  Monster Lab

This Game and its Concept Have Been Totally RIP'd OFF!?

Subject: Monster Lab, produced by Kelly Taiton, Edios Interactive, Backbone Entertainment ...TOTALLY TOOK my game design and concept >> right down to its skeletal tagline and, it was also quoted by them to be "...Tim Burton meets Pokemon..."

I am the creator of Monster Lab game and concept, and actually worked with Dan Burton on it (they didn't.) Together we designed prototypes, developed video presentations, game play documentation, budgets, the domain name and even hand sculpted monsters for our pitch to producers. "Michael Pace" aka Dr. Stein and Dan Burton are the unacknowledged and uncompensated creators of MONSTER LAB!

Eidos Announces Monster Lab - January 31, 2008
News: Become the ultimate mad scientist on Wii and Nintendo DS.

Backbone Entertainment is going to release their upcoming game Monster Lab for the Wii console soon, and it sure wouldn't hurt to know more about the game before it hits the shelves this year. Kelly Tainton, producer of this action RPG title, sheds more light into the dark, creepy world that lies within Monster Lab.

The game lets you control an apprentice in the Mad Science Alliance. Throughout the game, players will get to explore six different areas of the Ghastly Valley which will provide you with different ingredients. These things that you collect will enable you to perform experiments resulting in the creation of monsters.

In this monster creation game, Tainton said that there would be "millions of different combinations." She added that the quality of the monster parts is based on how well you are able to perform the experiments that make them. Also, the types of parts you make are determined by the ingredients you will be using.

And with features such as the multiplayer mode and mini-games, players will be treated to countless hours of fun, filled with much potential. These two features will help tie in the whole game bringing forth a new level of enjoyment.

With the words from the producer herself, much will be expected from the upcoming Monster Lab game. If you want to check out the full interview, feel free head on over to the source link below. We'll be keeping you updates with the latest information regarding this game.

Was this GAME and IDEA TOTALLY RIP'd off STOLEN or not? Hmm no offering of even a potato-head production artist job...!!
